Nobody should be using GPT detectors for anything important.
This is from a recent study that found that GPT detectors were misclassifying writing by non-native English speakers as AI-generated 48-76% of the time (!!!), compared to 0%-12% for native speakers.

It is irresponsible to use AI-generated text detectors as evidence of academic misconduct, and that’s putting it mildly.
My brain can’t tell the difference between “my hand is cold” and “my hand is asleep”
I usually chew on my hand to determine if it’s cold or asleep. If it has that weird feeling you get when you hit an asleep limb, then y'know it’s asleep. But if I chew on it and only feel the cold and it just feels like I’m chewing my hand, then it’s just cold.
The problem with that is that I have a very limited sense of touch in my hands, so brain also can’t tell the difference between mid to light touch and nothing at all. I’d have to bite hard enough to cause bruises, and I have enough of those
A conundrum!
Are you ok???????????????? I am mildly concerned for you friend
uhhhh why are they flirting with making likes a public thing on this site… what i like is between me and god
Girlies our likes are no longer safe
Clarification : it is only if you already have your likes set to public already.
If you have the setting of seeing what people you follow liked on then you will see content from the likes of blogs you follow that have likes set to public
It sucks yes, and I hope they stop, but don’t freak out if you have your likes private already.
the problem with autism is sometimes you want to do something (brave) but you need someone to gently walk you through each step so you know what will happen. and people don’t like doing that
In the mid-2000s there was a brief fad in Australian government messaging where they went out of their way to insult the public as much as possible.
This fad eventually died out after the tourism board attempted the same style of messaging in the UK, causing a minor scandal which led to the head of Tourism Australia, Scott Morrison, getting the sack.
I used to pass “Drink and drive, die in a ditch” fairly regularly. It is hands down my favourite street sign.
DRINK DRIVE, DIE IN A DITCH is still up in multiple places in the ACT. Every time I see it, I think, “That’s not just a warning, that feels like a promise.”
My latest project is a custom set of keyboard caps
I really love the way this post never blew up big but it never goes away. I’ve got other posts that get like 100k in a couple days, and never leave my notifications… But this one just shows up once or twice every day.
I fully expect the teeth keyboard will still be slowly circulating five years from now. Still creeping people out.
I couldn’t be prouder. Someday I’ll introduce ya’ll to the hair keyboard and you’ll know the true meaning of fear.
that’s because curses don’t just go away on their own
Since I won’t be home until August, my mom had to take Ziggy in for a nail and beak trim from the vet for the first time. I’ve always just done it myself, and I’ve done my best to train him to tolerate it and not be afraid of the pet nail dremel I use to file his beak down. Well guess what!!!
He was SUCH a good boy and he was SO BRAVE and calm I’m so proud of him.
Post-cope. Much better. And don’t worry he got lots of wormies as a reward.
